Eid Outfit Looks with Nismashop - One Dress Two Ways!

Thursday, July 17, 2014

Salam all! I have been working so hard to bring you some lovely Eid outfit ideas and I finally have my last installation. To help me bring this series to an end is the fabulous and very new Nisma. I was absolutely honoured when they contacted me to collaborate. They stock top notch modest designer wear and I commend them for helping Muslim owned businesses make a name for themselves and gain exposure.

I recieved the very popular Inayah black wrap dress to style and feature in a post. Once I had a look at the dress I realised it was very versatile to wear both formally and casually due to its unique design structure. Featuring dolman sleeves, soft pleating along its faux wrap, a tie wait belt and and a shorter front and longer back. So sit back and enjoy a barrage of photos showing all the goody details I paired with the stunning dress.

Look One:
This look is sleek and paired down. I chose to keep colours to a minimum with gold and maroon accessories. The beautiful chiffon hijab is from Kamilia Melbourne and was absolutely beautiful to wear with the classy dress. Perfect for Eid or a dinner date as it is dressy without being over the top.
My maroon velvet Nine West heels match my leather Veronika Maine clutch but also matches the gold accessories as it has simply beautiful golden embroidery stitched in.

Look Two:
This look utilises the same dress and hijab but with a boho twist. I styled this look for the more casual girl, for those who prefer flats over heels but still want to look dressed up and snazzy. I also changed the hijab style from long and flowy to a more casual wrapped look. Jeans, an embroidered ethnic clutch my DIY tassel necklace and spike flats are all that you need to turn the quite formal looking dress into something daytime wearable.

Make sure you go have a look at Nisma's website here and follow Nisma via FB and Instagram for some truly inspiring modest clothing.
