Night Out with Inayah

Sunday, February 16, 2014

I needed an outfit for a night out that was simultaneously smart and yet casual enough so that I didn't look overdressed. Insert Inayah. I loved how this Bloom midi dress has built in draping to add shape, texture and style without compromising on modesty. I was instantly drawn to this dress as it's design structure reminded me of all the designer looks I would drool over at shopbop or net-a-porter.

I paired the dress with a beautiful vintage inspired Black Floral Inayah hijab and black slim leg pants to keep it smart and girly. Finally I decided to wear a chunky teal and charcoal Lovisa necklace and mint green and gold statement ring, black oversized clutch and leopard leather Aldo pumps.

This dress not only looks classy but is also very comfortable due to its oversized style. There is plenty of room in there to feel at ease. I felt totally chic and covered whilst wearing this whole outfit. I love the feeling of freedom one gets from oversized clothing. Do you feel like this too or is it just me?

  14. that looks beautiful on you. I was eying that dress in black because it reminded me of a Margiela caftan/dress I wanted but I knew I wouldn't be comfortable in polyester. I am tempted to order a dress from inayah though, but a bad transaction with aab has me wary of uk-based sites.
