Islamic Design House ~ Flow Me Away

Wednesday, August 7, 2013

Here I am again with my third feature of another fabulous Islamic Design House abaya/dress.
This lovely teal number is called Flow Me Away, a beautiful and cool rayon twill that flares out from high up on the waist to add a little shape and structure. The waist is held in with a plaited belt made of the same fabric as the dress though you can choose to remove the belt and wear it loose.

The skirt of the dress is very flared which gives it a beautiful airy quality and as an added bonus actually creates the illusion of height and slimness if worn with heels.
I cannot express enough how comfortable and yet stylish I felt all day. You will feel like you are floating around in this lovely lovely dress.

I chose to style the dress with a gold sequinned clutch, gold accessories and a traditional Turkish ebruli hijab in the same teal tones. The beauty of this dress is that it can be worn totally casual like I have here or you can chuck on a pair of heels and chic accessories for a wedding or formal function.

You can shop the whole look - the bag is from eBay just type "gold sequin bag or clutch" in the search bar, gold "Mashallah" bracelet is from Monamour Collection", the hijab was bought a while ago but you can get plenty of similar Turkish hijabs from My Modefa and of course you need to head on over to Islamic Design House to purchase this stunning dress which also comes in a yummy berry shade. Remember to use the unique discount code Revival13 (check out and click the IDH banner on the sidebar --------->)

  2. Absolutely beautiful! I just purchased a long dress from shukronline. It is also so flowy and comfortable. My only issue was the length. Will definitely check this one out and finger crossed the length is good for me :)
