Mixing Prints

I have always loved the whole mixed prints look. I have cut out so many pictures of examples from magazines that my scrap book is overflowing with the look. It is pretty hard as a hijabi to really pull it off as we have to have everything covered so that is a lot of mixed print fabric! I think the general rule is to keep it tonal and in the same 'family'. Here I have mixed a printed silk tunic with a snake skin clutch and a printed leather belt. The pop of turquoise blue in the necklace really helps to bring all those brown and beige colours together. I prefer the unbelted look as it is less fussy but I thought I would give you both looks.

Seyma u r one of the best I have seen at mixing prints... mot ppl just try, but it doesn't work :) I love the mixing prints look, but can never pull it off myself... I think it's my age, I dunno, I'm even going for more and more of the plain hijabs lately, have had difficulty doing prints :) oh and love the clutch and print on your dress

i agree with Gons, I think its a getting older thing lol. I used to be so much more adventurous with my clothing when i was younger now I feel like its toned down, sometimes when i wear pink i think I MAY be too old for this lol
