What I Wore To Work Today ~ Chanel Inspired X2

Salams!
I'm sooooo buggered today! I could not sleep last night as like an idiot I guzzled a HUUUGGGEEE cup of coffee at around 10pm so I suffered the consequences of my kookooness when I tried to sleep! Honestly I think I fell asleep at arounf 3 or 4 am! So I dragged my behind out of bed this morning only to crawl back in and snuggle with my favourite little man Mikail (my son). His hair smelt so good and was so soft and downy under my nose that I drifted back to sleep and woke up LATE LATE LATE for work! Surprisingly I got dressed fast enough, even leaving me enough time to dash into the local Turkish cafe/bakery and grab myself a large hot latte and some delish freshly made warm Turkish Gozleme. Oh how well the gooey cheese and spinach went with my piping hot coffee. That I must say is my favourite part of the early morning. The smell of hot coffee and something fatty and warm accompanying it!
OK enough of my yakkity yak and lets get down to business! Today I wore a Chanel inspired jacket with my high neck watermelon vintage blouse and lashings of pearls! I honestly threw on all the pearls I own but eventually took some of them off as they started to get uncomfortable as the day progressed. I love these little jackets that have been popping up in all the major stores! They are so cute and I really like unfinished look the hem and edges have on the jacket. It also had a thin gold chain sewn on all the edges. Such cute details!
You have probably seen me wear this blouse before in a previous post. If not you can see it here.
I have also previously worn Chanel inspired clothes in previous posts and you can see that here.

DONT FORGET TO ENTER THE COMPETITION ENDING AUGUST 29TH!! I ALREADY HAVE ENTRIES SO GET YOURS IN NOW!!
OMG both lamo poses.. I need to start practicing my "blog" pose hehe

Love the outfits, like usual. The shoes are so cute.

But what I'm digging most is the glowing nose thing!!! Will this be the latest fashion accessory for the Fall??

:-)

Love the jacket!
You'll have to teach me how you can create a wonderful look so fast just after you woke up :-) I can stay like 30min in front of my wardrobe still saying "I have nothing to wear..."!

Love your style. Please, and I mean this, give us a tutorial on how to tie a scarf Turkish style. You do it so perfectly. Also, how do you maintain your figure sister???? You don't look like you even had a baby. Yeah, that's a compliment :-))))) much selam from USA.

salamz aishad and d:
D: my jacket was from my local mall but cant remember what the store was called. i believe this style of jacket is everywhere at the mo..
aishah: lol u are too cute! im so glad you love the blog! i always love to hear this as sometimes it feels like im sitting here typing up posts for just myself :S Well i think tubes do look fab with heels and kinda weird with flats but heres a little ttrick i figured out, if i want to wear a tube with flats il wear a longer top over it, like mid thigh and then belt it. for some reason this look works for me, but il never wear a short top over it with flats as it makes me look like my hips are MUMMA! lol give this a go!

your right- it does look a little wierd- heels make the outfit look more elegant whereas flats just make me look frumpy :( ill just have to save the skirt for days where i wont be walking around much :) ...thanks a bunch anyways! looking forward to consulting you with my next style dillema! tc xx
ps. LMAO @ 'MUMMA'!
